 Founded in 1986, Chrismont Montessori Academy has been a part of the Jersey Shore for over twenty years. We are a state licensed and state certified school serving children age 3 years through age 12 years, and we are a member of the American Montessori Society (AMS).
Chrismont Montessori Academy (CMA) offers your child the opportunity to learn in a safe, happy, and relaxed atmosphere. Children explore and discover at their own pace in ungraded, mixed-age classrooms with hands-on learning materials that foster self-esteem, independence, self-respect, and respect for others. Like Dr. Maria Montessori, we believe that early childhood education should cultivate the child's own natural desire to learn. Chrismont Montessori's classrooms create an open learning situation where children can grow at their own rate, benefiting from older children's examples. Our school offers a combined Primary and Kindergarten classroom for ages 3-6 years and a separate Elementary classroom for ages 7-9 years (grades 1-3). For parents and students, CMA fosters bonds of friendship that last a lifetime.
Our convenient location at the intersection of 7th and D Street in Belmar, NJ provides quick and easy access for families living in southern Monmouth County and Northern Ocean County. Please browse our website and contact us with any questions.
